Dr. Vanitha Gowda Ardila grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her B.A. degree in Biology from The University of Maryland Baltimore County. In 1995, she graduated from The University of Maryland Dental School. She then completed a year of Residency at the Audie Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas with a focus on implants, dental surgery and cosmetic dentistry and geriatric dentistry.
Dr. Gowda Ardila maintains an active membership in The American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society and American Orthodontic Society.
She volunteers regularly at the Richardson Network Dental Clinic. On Tuesdays, Dr. Gowda Ardila can be found working with our “super seniors” providing much needed dental care through Mobile Dental Care, in nursing homes throughout Richardson and Plano.
She has a great passion to advance her learning of dentistry and orthodontics and can be found on many weekends taking continuing education courses when she is not travelling with her family for tennis tournaments. She is married to her husband, Luis Ardila and they have four children: Luis (23), Daniel (15), Aasha (14), Landon (12). She loves the outdoors and would love to find more time to garden and play tennis.
